Art Journal Journey - Grow

We live in a world were success is displayed so flamboyantly by those who have achieved it, and yet where self-doubt is rife among so many people. Self-doubt has played it's part in my life, too - from struggles with self-imposed perfectionism, to trying to live up to other peoples ideals. I've given up on all that now. I'm too old, or perhaps I'm just a little too wise to be bothered. I will never draw a perfect picture - I see my own errors so clearly, even when others don't. And I will never live up to the ideals of perfection that so many people crave; and you know what - I'm a lot happier for it.   So my message from the soul is to those people struggling with their own self-doubt  and for those doing their best reach their goal and achieve their dreams.

You'll get there in the end.

    1. Hi, Elke. Thank you for your kind words. When something comes from inside whether it is perfect or not makes no difference; it is the truth.
