First Post

Starting any new project is always a touch daunting. It's difficult to know where to begin. But I've decided to jump in at the deep end and just start posting. So here's a small painting to start.

It's 3" x 2 1/2", watercolour and ink on watercolour paper.

    1. Thank you, Elke. Just a small painting to get things going, though I do enjoy doing pieces like this.

  5. A warm glow for my grey evening... glad, that finally found your blog (had searched about a blogger-profile, but it's hidden and I had searched for inklinger). Well, a new beginning. Took your blog just in my sidebar.

By the way: I have a chrinic pain disease too, but luckily I can still go out - I must care for my 90years old mother. But often I'm very tired, to tired for my own things. In summertime I often go for a swim, that helps a little. Wish, I had more energy for creativity! Blogging is often the onliest, what I do -

    1. Hi, Mascha. Glad you found me and pleased my piece has brought a little glow into your life. Chronic pain is not easy to live with; some days are better than others but being in pain all the time is not pleasant. My mother is elderly, too, and she is quite ill which makes things even more difficult. You can only do your best, but sometimes I wish I could more.
